CMA’s Opening Reception for Art Within Reach

Last week we celebrated the opening of our new exhibit Art Within Reach From the WPA to the Present. The exhibition brings together paintings by young artists from 2010 (pictured here) and paintings by children from the 1930s. We celebrated the opening with hands-on arts workshops in printmaking and painting, as well as a mini-lecture about the history of Community Art Centers - not to mention live performances by The Cangelosi Cards, a world class jazz band based in New York.
