The CMA Blog is an online exhibition space for current and archived artwork created at CMA, whereas the CMA website presents all the information pertaining to CMA programs.
You can search for a post by typing its title or a keyword into the search bar, located at the bottom of every page.
You can also locate a post by category (large menu at the top of every page) or by date (click the month of the post under archive, located at the base of every page).
Each post is categorized based on the program it was created in. I.e. an animation from a CMA After School Class would be in the “After School” category. Similarly, an upcoming exhibition at CMA will be posted in the “Exhibitions” category. Select the appropriate category from the menu or select it’s corresponding colored circle for all the posts in that category to appear.
If you know the approximate date the post was made and wish to search by date, scroll to the bottom of the blog page. At the bottom you will find a section titled “Archives” where you can select a specific month of the year. Once you select the month a new page will appear with all the posts from that month.
First navigate to the main page of the post, where you can find the video player. Above that video player is a line of text that reads “download this file”. Click on this link and a pop-up window will appear asking to save the file to your computer. Click “OK” and the file will begin downloading. The file will automatically play on iTunes or Quicktime.
Think of a podcast as an online broadcast. Much like a TV or radio station, a Podcast is a ‘channel’ (also referred to as “feed”) of audio and/or video media that is ‘broadcast’ directly to your computer. Users subscribe to podcasts using feed-catching software such as iTunes or GoogleReader. Users with iTunes are able to sync podcasts automatically with thier iPods for a portable viewing or listening experience.
See wikipedia’s article on podcasting for more information.
