Students of the Murals Art Colony class on Governors Island greeted their parents with not only this wonderful welcome sign, but cleverly penned moustaches too! These young artists designed and painted three and a half panels (each panel measuring 4 feet by 8 feet) that will be installed in Slip 6 of the Battery Maritime Building alongside three and a half more panels to be created in the upcoming WPA Murals class.
