Highlights from Thursday After School

This fall, Thursdays were devoted to all things Puppet and Robot related. Led by Teaching Artist Emily, students brainstormed, created story boards, and designed the puppets and robots for their final films, including characters like Slug the Frog, and Fireball the Dragon.

Myths of Chinese Dragons

Happy Year of the Dragon! Watch this short film made by a group of families from PS 124 to learn more about Chinese Dragons. Over the course of four classes at CMA, these families collaborated to create a fiery and fantastical animated short that focuses specifically on Dragons as they are understood in Chinese Culture.
